Welcome Fellow Traders and Investors
As Money Managers and Traders, the mission of our Blog is to educate our readers in technical analysis and proper money management across all asset classes.
Our methods are not the traditional advice you hear repeated and repackaged over and over again, but that’s exactly the point and the reason why we know how to advance and prosper in every kind of market.
To Your Success,
Doug, Bob and Gary
Who We Are
Doug McKay is an Investment Advisor and the Founder of “This Week On Wall Street” Radio Show and Blog. He has been assisting clients with their money since 1994. Doug obtains a series 65, series 3 and a Life License. Originally from Chicago, he obtained his B.A. in business from the Arizona State. A passion for the ocean led Doug to San Diego.
Doug is a strict chartist. This guides his philosophy on trading: “I’m always looking at the markets with a fresh perspective – this means no ‘buy & hold’ mentality, no piling money into mutual funds, and especially no herd mentality. This is a game of probabilities – cut your losses quickly and let your profits flow.” Doug’s goal is to educate his clients in technical analysis and the emotional aspects of managing their own money so they can realize more success in trading and investing.

Bob von Halle
Bob has over 35 years of financial experience across a diverse set of markets. Early in his career, he was involved in institutional fixed income sales to large money managers, primarily in corporate bonds and mortgage-backed securities. He later went on to the world of technology, by establishing the MidWest office for MarketAxess, the premier vendor for electronic corporate bond trading systems. He finished his fixed income career as a partner in a boutique asset management firm focusing on managing the cash balances for Managed Futures Advisors.
For the last 8 years, Bob has learned to navigate the world of stock option and index futures trading utilizing his own personal assets. His primary focus is on individual company option flow, trying to take advantage of perceived mispricings caused by newsworthy events, primarily earnings releases and merger arbitrage.
